DOP is the brand name and abbreviation of the organic compound (di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), one of the most affordable and widely used plasticizers on the market today.
This colorless viscous liquid is soluble in oil, but not in water. This material has good plastic properties.
Dioxyl phthalate (DOP) is a general purpose plasticizer. As a PVC plasticizer, DOP is used in screen printing ink formulations.
Due to its good stability against heat and ultraviolet light, DOP can be used in applications such as paints, varnishes, inks, adhesives and sealants.
